Everyone loves a good burger, right?! I mean, seriously, it's an American taste treat to sit down to a well-prepared, fully loaded burger with a side of fries and maybe a shake to top it off. Jasper's Cafe in Medford, (just a short 15-minute drive from Abigail's) is the go-to place for burgers. Don't get me wrong, there are good burgers to be eaten in Ashland, but Jasper's has a little something special. Voted Southern Oregon's Reader's Choice in 2010 and Mail Tribune's Reader Choice, also in 2010 and 2011, demonstrates that Jasper's is a local favorite. My burger of choice is the Western, loaded with bar-b-que sauce, cheese, grilled onions and bacon... yep, it's amazing! Click on the link above and peruse the burger menu, you can't help but drool.
But what makes Jasper's a bit different from other burger joints is Taco Tuesday. Every Tuesday the special of the day is 4 tacos and a drink for a mere $5. Yes, that's right, you heard me correctly, $5. Abi and I try to make it to Taco Tuesday at least every other week because the tacos are just that good. And on Friday, it's French Dip Friday, (also $5) with the best tasting beef and au jus, seriously good.
