Amazingly, it is mid-August and I'm still trying to figure out what happened to May, June, July.... When you own/operate an inn, in a destination town with a very defined high season, the hours, days, weeks, months just sort of all blend together. I walked through the yard and realized how much was in bloom and how different the garden looks depending on the month and what is blooming. With that being said, here is our garden in August. I can claim none of the glory as the garden is all the work of the resident gardener. He does good work, I think I'll keep him.
