She's got a trio of Italians to WOW you...Ca del Baio's 'Asili' Barbaresco '11 (Perfect with wild mushroom risotto!), Corsini Barbera d'Alba '12 (Try it alongside anything with red sauce -including pizza!), & La Fortuna's Rosso di Montalcino '11 (Have this w/meat based pasta dishes or a rich meat course.)...Italian wines are PERFECT for a romantic dinner (wink wink). We'll start the tasting with Gruet's Brut Rose...a lovely way to start any evening, and perfect for a weekend brunch!

 We are always happy to have as our host Kevin Craviotto of Foris Winery. Did you know that Foris is considered one of the "greenest" wineries in the state? (Hooray Foris!) In addition to being delicious, fairly priced wines, you can feel good about drinking them! Ask Kevin about their practices and sip some wine while you listen. Reds, whites, a "sweetie"; he'll have them all!

 That crazy Galaxian Ron Stringfield will be landing at our cozy little shop to warm us up with some vino. Check out the new Kermit Lynch Cotes du Rhone, Pierre & Catherine Breton's Bourgueil (BioD Cab Franc from KL), Perrusset's Macon (also KL) and Nigl's STUNNING '13 Gruner Freiheit (CG's new fave white), plus the mystery "Ron pick". A not-to-miss tasting.

Lemma's John Wren has ROCO's new '12 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, some Txacolina (YES! The first has arrived!), as well as a few others he'll pick that week, depending on the weather and the mood he's in. If you have never had Txacolina (and like white wine) you are in for a treat! This little gem from Spain's Basque country goes as fast as it gets here. Try it....and then enjoy it while it lasts!
